The Certified Federal Surveyors (CFedS) program was designed to deliver cadastral services to federally recognized tribes and individual Indians or Alaska natives, under the direction and control of the Secretary of the Interior through the BLM. Certified Federal Surveyors are authorized to perform many cadastral services and may be used to accomplish the Secretary's trust responsibilities in a timely, cost effective, and efficient manner. In addition, CFedS may be utilized to deliver cadastral services under the direction and control of BLM on any federal interst land. More information may be found at the official CFedS website.
