This project consists of the widening
of the mainline Beltway with the addition of a northbound and
southbound lane from Summerlin Parkway to Craig Road and the
construction of an auxiliary lane between Lake Mead Boulevard
and Cheyenne Avenue. A bridge structure was constructed at
Cheyenne Avenue. Also included were the appropriate drainage
improvements, ramp and gore lighting, and a traffic signal
upgrade at Cheyenne Avenue.

This project included construction of approximately
three miles of fully improved four-lane mainline freeway and auxiliary
lanes, construction of approach roadway and bridges at Rainbow
Boulevard and Jones Boulevard, a full interchange at Rainbow Boulevard
and a partial interchange at Decatur Boulevard and Buffalo Drive. |

The project included construction of 6,400
linear feet of reinforced concrete channel in the Las Vegas Wash "A" Channel,
between Alexander Road and Cheyenne Avenue, and construction of
a 456 acre foot Peaking Basin. The work also consisted of
all necessary appurtenances including riprap, reinforced concrete
pipe, reinforced concrete box, fences, access ramps, channel transition
structures, flood control monitoring station, half-street improvements,
landscaping, concrete masonry unit wall construction, and headwalls. |

services for Horizon Ridge Parkway from Gibson Road to Seven Hills
Drive. VTN Consulting provided pre-construction services, construction
management services, survey and material testing, and post-construction
services to assist with the construction of the Horizon Ridge Parkway
Project. |

services for two miles of full roadway improvements on Russell
Road from Rainbow Boulevard to Decatur Boulevard on Russell, and
TCIP improvements 2004 including full street improvements to Torrey
Pines Drive north to Dewey Drive, west side of Bronco Street, Edmond
Street from Russell Road north to Diablo Drive & Decatur Boulevard
from Russell Road north to Dewey Drive. |
